Purchase, installation and other issues

How to install and pay for a watch face
  • Open Garmin Connect IQ app on your phone, select the watch face you want to install or click on the search icon to look for a particular watch face you want to install
  • Click on the Install button
  • The clock face will take a few seconds to install on your device
  • After a small trial period (some clocks may not have any trial period), a 6 digit code will pop up on your device
  • Now go to https://kiezelpay.com/code/ and enter the code on your clock face there
  • Provide a valid email address and purchase it using Paypal/ Apple Pay or credit card. 
  • You will now receive an email about your purchase and the clock will be unlocked automatically (the unlocking may take up to 5 minutes)
I entered the purchase code on the purchase page and it tells me that code is unknown,expired or already used

Each code is valid for one hour. This probably means your code is expired.

For now, the solution is to make the clockface restart, which will force a new code to be loaded and displayed.

On a Garmin smartwatch, shutdown and restart your watch.
 
How to configure the watch face/ change watch face settings
  • You need to install the watch face on your device first. Please refer to our FAQ page here on how to do this
  • Once installed, go to the watch face page and if the watch face has configurable settings, you will see a “Settings” button
  • Click on it, configure your settings and remember to click on “Save” for your settings to take effect
What payment methods can be used to purchase the watch face?
  • First, install the watch face you want on your device. You can see our FAQ section on how to do this here 
  • After a small trial period (some clocks may not have any trial period), a 6 digit code will pop up on your device
  • Now go to https://kiezelpay.com/code/ and enter the code on your clock face there
  • Provide a valid email address and purchase it using any of the following payment methods:
    • Paypal
    • Apple Pay
    • Credit card
    • If you have a Union Pay card, you can associate it with your Paypal account first, and then use the Paypal account to complete your purchase. To do this, customers can log in to their PayPal account, click “Add Bankcard” on the user information page, input and confirm UnionPay card number to complete the connection of UnionPay card to PayPal.
  • You will now receive an email about your purchase and the clock will be unlocked automatically (the unlocking may take up to 5 minutes)
I already purchased a watch face but it is asking me to pay again

Garmin Connect may not always recognize you again after (re)installing an app, so the system might think you are a new customer when that happens, and might ask you to pay again.

Luckily you can unlock your app again for free here.
Just enter the code it is showing you and the e-mail address you used for the original purchase and you will be up and running again in no time. It may take upto 5 minutes for the unlocking.

Is this a one-time or recurring payment?

All the apps and clockfaces are one time payments for a lifetime license.

However, because we cannot always recognize you again after you remove and reinstall an app or clockface, it might ask for payment again if you ever remove and reinstall it.

When that happens you can unlock it again for free by going to https://kzl.io/unlock

I do not want to purchase this app/watch face. How do I stop these messages?

These messages are shown because you are using a paid app or clockface of which the trial has expired.
If you do not want to pay for the app or clockface, remove the app, or install another clockface from the appstore, and the messages will automatically stop.

Uninstall a watch face:

  • Go to Garmin Connect IQ app
  • Click on the “My Device” tab, click on “My Watch Faces”
  • Here you can see a list of all watch faces installed on your device. Select the one you want remove/uninstall
  • Click on Uninstall

All clock faces and apps clearly mention in their description if they require payment or not, so it should not be hard to find a free one instead.

I accidently removed my watch face. How do I get it back?
  • Open Garmin Connect IQ app on your phone, click on the search icon to look for the watch face you want to reinstall
  • Click on the Install button
  • The clock face will take a few seconds to install on your device
  • After a small trial period (some clocks may not have any trial period), a 6 digit code may pop up on your device
  • If it does, go to https://kiezelpay.com/code/ and click on Already Purchased (assuming you have purchased this clock face before). Enter the code on your clock face there along with the email address you used at the time of the original purchase 
  • The unlocking may take up to 5 minutes
I am not satisfied with my purchase. How do I get a refund
  • We put a lot of heart and sweat into each clock face that we make and so if you are facing any issues with the clock face do send us an email HERE
  • If you still need a refund, we as developers cannot refund you directly. You can contact the Kiezel Pay team HERE and they will be able to help you out
What is Kiezel Pay or KPay? Is it safe?

KiezelPay is a secure and simple gateway for us developers to receive payments for smartwatch apps and watch-faces that we make.

What is a bundle/package and where can I see it?
  • A bundle or a package is a group of clocks that we offer to buy together at a discounted rate
  • You can view all our bundles HERE
Where to see / How to install the clock faces that I purchased in a bundle?
  • After you have purchased our bundle,  you will receive an e-mail with a “Download App/ Watch face” button. Clicking on that will show you all the clockfaces/apps in the bundle with a download button next to each one of them.
  • Use that download button to go to the Garmin Connect IQ store watch face page and install the watch face/app on your watch from there.
  • If you cannot find the e-mail any more, you can perform a lookup of all your purchases HERE
  • If the download button does not work for you, you can use the search functionality in the Garmin Connect IQ store to find the app/clockface by name instead and install it from there.
